One question that many people are looking for an answer to is: Can you make a serious Squidoo earning?

The answer to that question is without a doubt YES! Squidoo is in its own right a very good place to start out if you’re looking to make an extra income online – and mixed with other internet marketing techniques it becomes a very powerful tool.

But - yes there is a but – if you’re looking to make a quick buck without putting in much effort, then Squidoo quite simply isn’t for you!

This is why I’m inviting you to follow what I’m doing here on SquidooFreak.com. I’m being honest and up front with my Squidoo earnings, I’m letting you watch over my shoulder to see what I’m doing by announcing every squidoo lens I build and I share my successes and the resouces I use to get where I’m going.

Now – to make a serious Squidoo earning you have to commit to 3 things:

• Learn how to Squidoo – and how to do internet marketing in general.
• Let go of your “Instant Reward” mindset – learn how to build for your future.
• Take Action! Knowing how to do – but not doing it – isn’t going to get you anywhere.

First, learn how to use Squidoo. There’s lots of resources out there that will teach you how to do this, some of them free, but most of them comes with a (very reasonable) price tag. Second – let go of your “instant reward” mindset. I’m assuming you’ve got one – because most of us has been programmed that way – go to school, get good grades, and find a secure job. Every one knows that secure jobs doesn’t exist – but having a job is still the way most people exist – and there’s nothing wrong with that. However – if you want more from life – you need to change your mindset to that of an entrepreneur.

An entrepreneur knows that you can do some work now, without getting paid, because it will pay many times over in the future. When you build a Squidoo lens you’ll only start to get paid for that work 2-3 months down the line, and then it could well be that it’s only in cents! However, the lens will keep earning you money for quite some time to come.

If you work for your boss for 3 hours you may earn $30. If you work on a lens for 3 hours it will start paying you $1 every month in 3 months time, and keep doing that for 3-5 years. This is just an example! From my experience a good lens will on average make you $7 a month throughout the year. You do the maths!

Finally – you need to take action! Nothing is ever going to go your way unless you’re prepared to work for it – or have got the funds to make someone else do it for you! Funnily enough – this is a massive stumbling block for many people – particularly those who haven’t understood point 2.

So yes – you can indeed make a serious Squidoo earning – if you put your mind to it.
