Still Doing Well….

When building lenses on Squidoo, there’s a lot of things to take into account, if you want to be successful. The main thing you need to do is get your main keyword phrase right, and make sure that there’s not a lot of competition for that keyword phrase.

One way of doing this could be to mis-spell parts of the keyword phrase. You may get less searches that way – but – what really matters is not the amount of visitors you get. It’s the quality of visitors! It’s better to get 1 visitor who use your (wrong) keyword phrase  – but will make a purchase – than it is to get 10 correct spelling visitors who are just browsing around.

I find that a lot of people mis-spell Blu-Ray – and utilising this has been well worth it for me. One particular lens – Best Blue Ray Player – has made me a commission of nearly $5.00 in the last week alone. This is through sales of 2 of the featured Blu-Ray players on the site, and a series of jewelry beads!

The beauty of this whole thing is that any purchase made by a customer on Amazon.com, coming from your lens, will give you a commission regardless of what they buy.

This is only my part of the commission, as it’s split 50/50 with Squidoo. I don’t mind sharing though, simply because Squidoo provides me with a powerful tool to try things out without taking may risks. This is one reason why I love Squidoo.
