Making money online is not really an easy thing – it takes work just like everything else – and anyone trying to convince you otherwise is telling lies or trying to sell you a “How To Make Money Online” info product.

But if you’re willing to put in that bit of work, and actually enjoy what you do, then it doesn’t matter all that much. Particularly not when you log in to your affiliate accounts and find that you’re making sales.

I started my Planet Earth Blue Ray lens on Squidoo on November 19th, utilising the strategies outlined in Tiffany Dow’s Social Marketing on Squidoo, and Craig Kaye’s Info Product Killer. Those two guides work so well together – and I highly recommend them both!

Yesterday I logged into my Amazon Associates account, to see if any of my efforts had paid off so far – and they have! I’ve made 2 sales from the Planet Earth Blue Ray lens already – and it has only just been online for 2 weeks! It gets a fair bit of attention from all the search engines, not the least from Google, so life’s good! In fact, it’s pretty awesome to get traffic from all the search engines for a squidoo lens that’s only been online for 2 weeks!

I can live with this lens making me 1-2 sales a week for the next year or two. It might only make me a total of $300.00 in that time – but that’s not bad for 2-3 hours work – is it? I’ll just build another 100 lenses like it – and I’ll be fine! It’s all about seing things from above – not beneath!
