Squidoo Housecleaning

Squidoo is cleaning out the house, getting rid of the clutter, and making sure that only desirable content is left on the site. This is good for many reasons, one being that Squidoo will maintain a healthy relationship with the main search engines for fighting spam.

I hate spam! I am, and always have been, someone who thinks that a job worth doing should be done properly. People creating spammy lenses on squidoo don’t seem to think alike, and so, their lenses have to go.

Unfortunately, when Squidoo have to clean out this means that some well made lenses gets caught in the clean up filter, and this is true for some of my lenses as well. My brand new lens on how to get your ex girlfriend back got the boot, because a lot of people have made spammy lenses in the “get your ex back” niche.

Also, my lens on the Wealthy Affiliate University had to go, but then it didn’t perform too great, and it didn’t say anything on it that you wouldn’t find on the sales page, so I’m not going to cry over that.

I’m happy that Squidoo is kept clean – and I’m going to keep on producing lenses for the benefit of the Squidoo community, as well as my own online ventures. After all that’s what it’s all about.
